Jeez... how long will the Russian winter rule the day over there? Memory of reading Russian history... seems like it's colder than average until at least late May.
What do you consider "colder than average"? Russia is going to be colder than the southern US ... all year long.
But if you are talking about not freezing temperatures, you should see things improving in April. I've been in Moscow in late April and there is hardly any snow. :-) (trying to supress giggle)
I mean colder than the average temperature so far this winter-in-Russia. And apparently it hasn't been this cold for this long in this part of Russia in decades....
